AdBlock extension to Block/Disable Ads in Google Chrome

The well-known AdBlock extension for Firefox is now included in the Chrome extensions gallery. The AdBlocker add-on for Chrome blocks all ads on all websites. It updates your browser automatically with updates to the filter.

The settings for AdBlock can be customized by selecting Tools > Extensions > AdBlock Options. You can include filters to add additional languages via the options menu.

Features:

Block an advertisement that the filters did not recognize – Press Ctrl Shift K (think “Kill!”) Click on the ad, then slide through the slide until it has been properly blocked in the webpage. Click the ‘Looks Great button.

– Do not run AdBlock on certain domains – Use the Ctrl key and shift to L (think “Live!”) on a webpage to stop AdBlock from running on the page’s domain, thereby making it Whitelist.

To place the AdBlock button to the address bar Click to install in the Browser Button to go to AdBlock on the AdBlock page. To take it off click it, then right-click and select to disable it.
