In the past, Nokia Xfamily phones were revealed during MWC 2014. It’s a lineup that is the first Android-powered phones made by Nokia. The three handsets “Nokia X, X+, and XL” are running an adapted variant of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is reportedly a mix that combines the best of Android as well as Windows Phone. Nokia has completely changed the X’s interface to match Asha’s similar to Fastlane and all Google services have been removed and replaced with Nokia’s own App Store, MixRadio, Outlook.com, Skype, OneDrive, Here Maps, Here Drive, and many more.
An experienced member ‘ opssemnik’ over at the forum XDA-Developers has already port certain Nokia X apps to Android. The first app that has been ported to Nokia X can be found in the Nokia Store which is which is a replacement for Google Play Store, and the second is Nokia Mix Radio.
For installation of Nokia Store to the Android device, just install the APK and start enjoying the app without having an iPhone or X-phone. The Store app is installed without altering your build.propbut it currently is stuck at a blank loading screen. This is a known problem that is expected to be resolved with an update to come.
To install and use Nokia’s MixRadioapp on Android it is necessary to alter the build.prop file according to the instructions given and then install the APK. It requires a root device.
